This is a fabulous collection of Olympic stamps and other philatelic material with dates from 1896 Greece to 1980 Moscow. From the archive of the Helms Hall Museum, they are housed in three large archivally sound philatelic boxes, a total of 361 pieces. Stamps date from 1906 through to 1980 with most years being complete sets from the host countries. For example there is a complete set of 1906 Greece (14) that are MLH. The earliest material is MLH and some of the older and newer is MNH. There's a ton of other stamp-related things from countries other than the hosts, and many unusual things most of which are uncirculated. There are even some postcards, print blocks, unperforated stamps, FDCs, proofs, and more. Examples include: 1948 London proofs, 1948 Monaco, 1952 Helsinki with sheet edge and much more. Remember, this is a museum collection so it is great quality. The earliest material was likely collected from Paul Helms himself, making the provenance of added value and of a historic nature. All is well documented in the original inventory and beautifully displayed in archival holders with NO disturbance of the glue. Please contact us for the complete Helms inventory of the stamp collection. Something not to be missed.
