It's one of baseball's most iconic photos. Two months prior to his death, a frail Babe Ruth took his final ballpark bow on a gloomy day at the ballpark he "built" in the Bronx. The vintage Pulitzer Prize winning photo snapped on June 13, 1948, by Nat Fein measures 9x7" and has the UPI stamp on the verso along with pencil writing identifying the photo and the date. There is some glue residue on the back, as well as some markings in the white borders on the front but otherwise grades EX.
