From the collection of the original photographer, Hy Peskin, this is from the camera, meaning that this is the one image used to create the July 18th, 1956, Cincinnati Reds Sports Illustrated Cover. This 4x5" full color transparency pictures "Redlegs" sluggers Wally Post, Ted Kluszewski, and Gus Bell. They called them Redlegs instead of Reds in the 1950s because Reds had a negative connotation due to the association with communists. Some light scratching but overall EX condition.
