The 1961 Cincinnati Reds won the National League pennant with a 93-61 record but had the great misfortune of going up against one of the greatest teams of all-time in the World Series; the Maris and Mantle-led New York Yankees, who cruised to the title in five games. This hand painted baseball pays tribute to the Reds' fourth NL Championship club, singling out team ace Jim Maloney. The gorgeous ball comes with a signed LOA from Maloney as this baseball was part of his personal collection. The ball is signed by the legendary artist, George Sosnak and is in EX-MT to NRMT condition.
