This is a rare 1930 studio portrait photo of Amelia Earhart; most of the photos of her were press photos not studio portraits. What's extraordinary is that this one was executed by a celebrated photographer, Ernest Bachrach, who was most known for his Hollywood glamour portraits. This photo is signed on the front and back. The famed aviatrix looks exceedingly handsome, more like a beautiful androgynous boy than a woman looked during that period. Caption mentions her recent engagement to publisher Putnam. There is something very special that emanates from this 8x10.5" image, which stands in EX+ condition.
