Numerologists would have a field day with Gaylord Perry's brief time in pinstripes as the Hall of Fame righty went 4-4 with a 4.44 ERA for the 1980 Yankees. Over the course of his 10 starts with the Bronx Bombers, Perry used this red-tinted Mizuno glove which he states was a first for a major league pitcher. The leather shows great use and has one broken lace at the tip of the fingers, as well as "Gaylord Perry" stitched on the thumb. It was signed by the 511-game winner in 7/10 Sharpie and also notated "1980 NYY." That Yankees team went on to win 103 games and the American League East crown.
