While Glenn Miller was playing "In the Mood," the Cincinnati Redlegs were in the groove, running away with the National League pennant en route to a World Series championship... their first since the White Sox threw the 1919 Fall Classic. From that memorable season comes this terrific artifact that was sold during the Series: an 18" red felt pennant with white trim and lettering that reads: "1940 Reds Nat'l League Champs." It is in NRMT condition.
