This recently discovered porcelain sign fits into more collecting categories than Studebaker had automobiles. A rare and desirable piece of American advertising and an equally important piece of football memorabilia, this defunct line of cars was named for and licensed with dearly departed Notre Dame football coach Knute Rockne. Of the few of these signs known to exist, this is the best specimen we have seen. It is in nearly unimprovable EX-MT condition with spectacular bold color on both sides (yes it is double-sided), marvelous art deco graphics and a worthy output promoting this 1932-33 car line. One of the few pieces of memorabilia remaining from this incredible "celebrity" line of cars. 48"w x 24"h
