The son of Crafty Admiral, Admiral's Voyage was ridden by Braulio Baeza at the 1962 Wood Memorial, prep race for the Kentucky Derby, where he finished in a dead heat with Sunrise County, ridden by Willie Shoemaker. Admiral's Voyage was awarded the victory, however, after Sunrise County was disqualified for interference at the top of the stretch. This ceremonial, trophy-shaped coffee pot comes with a signed photo by Baeza, measures 7" tall and features the engraving: "NEW YORK RACING ASSOCIATION THE WOOD MEMORIAL AQUEDUCT 1962 WON BY FRED W. HOOPER ADMIRAL'S VOYAGE JOCKEY: BRAULIO BAEZA."
