One of a handful of specimens known to exist, this is something of a Holy Grail for ticket collectors, let alone Brooklynites. Grades a PSA 6 (EX-MT) making it the nicest known example. This is from the era when the Dodgers were doing truly creative things with tickets including their diecut season openers in the '30s and '40s. This is the big boss of all of them - not only is it a gorgeous design with a truly Edisonian light bulb pulsing out from the cardboard commentating the first ever night game in Ebbets, but the game turned out to be a barn burner. With Babe Ruth coaching at first base, Johnny Vander Meer would pitch his second no-hitter IN A ROW and history was made. This also just happens to be the finest known example and is unimprovable and incredible. In fact, we have discovered many of the known specimens in the market and this is the best of the best. Comes with two signed photos of Vander Meer with one of the game and dated by him "6-15-38." It seems the best things only come out at night.
