A highly resolute Type I photo, this is a very sad, poignant image of Dodgers great Carl Erskine outside Ebbets Field with an apartment banner across the front, from the Kratter Corp. What comes to mind is money for money's sake, the corruption of one of our institutions, something that should be incorruptible, and the ultimate loss of innocence. Still a great photo which is symbolic of the end of an era in sports history. Stamped by Brooklyn Dodger photographer Barney Stein, it measures 8x10" and is in EX condition.
