Historically fascinating, this collection of 1945 autographs is led by George Sisler, who among his responsibilities of this year included scouting Jackie Robinson for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Although he worried about his arm strength, he still cleared the way eventually. He is joined by Leo Durocher, who was to be his first big league manager but was suspended at the start of the 1947 season for being a perennial bad boy. They are joined by other Brooklynites from 1945 (has to be that year based on their records!) and Boston Braves who they were playing that day. Even includes Dodger Bucky Tanner, who ended up jumping to the Mexican League. Signatures are NRMT.
