"The 'Swatsika Club' at Home," is an original pen and ink drawing by Clare Briggs, an early American comic strip artist who rose to fame in 1904. He used a different spelling and the term did not have the same sinister meaning in 1911, although it was an extremely powerful symbol, before the Nazis used it and murdered millions of people. He did use the "turn of phrase, by calling it "The Swat and Sic'em Club." He also wrote "Why not adopt this emblem for the slugging Sox" and signed it Briggs. Drawing is in the shape of the Swastika. Overall measurement is 18x19" and condition is EX-MT.
