This baseball inkwell made of metal, discovered in Japan, displays a standing player (3.5") intended to be Babe Ruth. Comes with the original fitted and hinged heavy duty box, and the piece incorporates a pen holder, with a baseball diamond and baseball that lifts up to reveal two glass inserts to hold the ink. This was influenced by Ruth's celebrated trip to Japan in 1934. Inkwell measures 5.5x6" and has some wear, minor dings and scratching.
