Considered by many to be the king of boxing books, this is the nicest copy of the famous "Pancratia" that we've seen. The leather covers, which we we have not seen before, are soft and supple with embossed "History of Pugilism " on the spine. This scrumptious tome opens to an “Elegant Engraved Portrait of the Champion (Thomas) Cribb.” Some foxing inside but the binding is strong and condition is otherwise excellent. One of only handful of copies known to exist, only three have come up for sale in the last 30 years.
