Offered here is an incredible size 35" x 21" heavy mount photograph of this team that lost to Stanford 7-6 in the 1927 Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena. The edges have been trimmed off but does not take away from this massive image that likely hung at the college itself. Displays some chipping and tears and the back is rough, but the image itself is beautiful with marvelous detail. "Hall and Williams Studio Pittsburgh Pennsylania" hand-panted cartouche at bottom right. Comes with original printed 8" x 5" paper label reading "University of Pittsburgh Football Squad 1927."
