Amazing collection of circa 1947 signed and unsigned photos comes from this man who was close to the Dodgers. We bought his collection 25+ years ago and sold them to Sal. They were part of a treasure trove including a slug of the mint full last game at Ebbets tickets. All are amazing double weight, tapestry finish images by little seen photographer Leo M. Chill with his "360 Ocean P'kway B'klyn 18 NY" stamp on verso of some. All are 8" x 10" and signed unless noted: Pee Wee Reese, Ralph Branca, Rex Barney and Preacher Roe by themselves and Clyde Sukeforth (2), Paul Minner and Spider Jorgensen posed with Leo. Signatures 9-10/10 in blue fountain pen ink and signed at the time. Unsigned: Pee Wee, night game versus Phillies with Dodgers, stunning Laraine Day in Stand (Mrs. Durocher), two of Ebbets action with scoreboard in background, four other Ebbets actions (Hodges stretch, Jackie Robinson), ten posed with Dodgers uniform, two beautiful Campys and more, four great single Dodgers including the best Carl Furillo we have ever seen, early Pee Wee Reese Day/Salute versus Giants and perhaps best of all, a smaller 8" x 10" shot of two Bill "Bojangles" Robinsons, two Thomas Dewey on Jackie Robinson day, nine signed and 33 unsigned for a total of 42, All are NM or better except for a few lesser.
