This fabulous piece of American lithography was produced at the turn of the century to promote the pugilist who is considered the greatest featherweight of all-time. Colors are magnificent, right down to his red, white and blue Championship Belt, dating this to 1899-1901. This is a partial piece, but undoubtedly the best part by far. Originally a vaudeville poster and lithograph promoting his short career on the stage. Discovered recently in the San Francisco area, this has been beautifully restored by the original discoveree, the work undertaken by a local professional at considerable expense. It has been luxuriously framed and mounted with a marvelous aesthetic, making this a Class-1 display piece. With frame, measures overall 66" x 46".
