The 2011 Horse of the Year. For her career, Havre won eight of 15 races, finished out of the money only once and earned over $2.5 million. Her racing highlights included wins in the Azeri Stakes, Apple Blossom Handicap, Beldame Stakes, Cotillion Handicap and the Woodward Stakes (against the boys, no less). On November 5, 2012, Havre de Grace was sold in the Fasig Tipton November Sale in Lexington, Kentucky, by Taylor Made Sales Agency. She was labeled as Hip #76 and sold for $10 million.
