The first modern franchise to relocate did so with unprecedented success. Milwaukee embraced the former Boston Braves in 1953 as a then-National League record 1.8 million fans came to County Stadium to watch their new team post a fantastic 92-62 record, setting the foundation for an eventual World Series championship. From that era comes this splendid jacket with classic Braves Tomahawk Logo and #19 on the chest, meaning it likely belonged to Ben Taylor, Red Murph or Hawk Taylor. The Wilson Size 42 jacket with Boston Braves warrior laughing chief patch on the sleeve is in NRMT condition and features a perfect suede interior.
