The 1965 set is far rarer as "The Mick" played in his 2,000th career game on September 18 of that year, a feat only surpassed by fellow Hall of Famers Ruth, Gehrig and Berra. The inside features career stats and photos while the back page reveals the day's itinerary and includes a tribute from Ballantine Beer. The June 8, 1969, program bills itself as "A Day to Remember" and features Mantle's famous #7. This occasion - celebrating the career of the retiring icon - was distinguished by a nine-minute ovation prior to Mantle's pregame speech. The lot also includes a 45 record with the same title and picture jacket with photos of the event. The 1969 program has pinholes but otherwise is in EX-MT condition.
