Presented by the British military service to their team members stationed in Iraq before the fall, this piece contains 14 grams of silver and is in EX-MT condition. Consisting of a gorgeous enamel image of the famous Iraqi state symbol (picturing the Ruins at Ctesiphon) in its center, this lot was produced in the same year - 1923 - that it came out as an Iraqi stamp. Surrounding this image, "IRAQ 1923" and "HOCKEY BRITISH" are printed on top, while "RUNNERS-UP" and "SERVICE CHAMPIONSHIP" appear beneath.
