This game-used Wilson NFL football dates to a 1974 tilt between the Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins at RFK Stadium. Previously owned by the son of a Redskins launderer, the ball shows good game use and includes a pressed letter "G" on either side of the air valve. This "G" was the code used by Wilson to identify game balls in 1974. "REDSKINS 20 MIAMI 17" has been painted in white over a quarter of the ball, while another quarter features the notation, "SKINS 20, DOLPHINS 17", written in faded Sharpie.
