This 13” silver tray was created as a presentational item for the Yankees' fifth championship in as many years, and three of which came against the rival Brooklyn Dodgers. There are 37 engraved signatures including Mantle, Rizzuto, Berra, Mize, Crosetti, Stengel and Martin, surround a team logo and “1953 World Champions.” Etched with stitching details, the tray is noticeably tarnished, though otherwise EX. It was presented exclusively to players and team officials. The five straight World Series crowns remains a major league record.
