What a wonderful agglomeration of collectibles that honor the legendary Seabiscuit, all of which was assembled by one passionate collector through the years. Included here are: Seabiscuit China by Lynn Bogue Hunt (6); a 1993 limited edition stein commissioned by Bay Meadows; models of Seabiscuit (2); scarce and modern books including some which are signed (12); 1938 War Admiral vs. Seabiscuit Radio Guide and Pic magazine; (14) framed photos showing Seabiscuit with Marcela, Charles Howard, Red Pollard, training and racing etc.; (20) unframed photos of Seabiscuit; newspaper cuttings etc.; a limited edition painting of Seabiscuit at Ridgewood Ranch by Jan Buron 2002 (framed 24x18”); Seabiscuit models (7); bobbleheads (2); old postcards (3); original newspaper clippings (5); silver commemorative medallion; magazine articles (3); three matchbooks with two from The Derby Restaurant and rare "Real McCoy"; original glassware including “Horse of the Year 1938” Steins (2); 1939 Santa Anita Handicap Glass; 1940 Lynn Bogue Hunt Seabiscuit horse racing glasses (2) and one stein; ‘Santa Anita Park’ ‘Home of Seabiscuit’; framed listing of all of Seabiscuit’s races (24x18”); FDCs (2); Seabiscuit “Rolling Rock Beer” commercial clock (MT); DVDs (5); CD; commemorative pin set complete with five pins unused in presentation case (#123/5000); “The Great Out Doors” 1945 calendar with dry points by R.H Palenske; Soft-bound copy of the entire script of the film “Seabiscuit,” screenplay by Gary Ross, from Universal; 1938 Kentucky Derby racing game by Whitman in original box with spinner and horses including Seabiscuit; Seabiscuit, Man O' War and Whirlaway leather playing card set by R.H Palenske in leather case with two sets and extras; and 78 rpm recording of “The Comeback of Seabiscuit,” unplayed and in MT condition in original sleeve.
