Here's an extremely rare find and the first we have seen of this early player card for this Hall of Fame manager. Joe McCarthy is depicted in a wonderful pose with bat in hand and stern look. Bears his team's Louisville "L" on cap and the collars are natty. "1916 Louisville" is written on the verso in pencil. In EX-MT condition, unposted - an important postcard.
