On July 8, 1964, (rescheduled from June 24th) at Wahconah Park in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, former World Middleweight Champion Sugar Ray Robinson fought Clarence Riley, a last-minute replacement for Cadillac James, in the main event. Robinson, aging, but still effective, stopped Riley in the 6th round. Offered here are 10 original on-site posters for the originally-scheduled event. Discovered as a "find" in Massachusetts the posters have been maintained well. Each is cardboard measuring 14x22". They exhibit minor edge and corner wear, light staining and toning, and minor surface wear. To our knowledge, on-site posters from this event have never before been offered for public sale. A rare and desirable group.
