Quaint and charming, this heavily laminated black lacquer pencil box displays a colorful Allen & Ginter quality baseball scene atop its lid. A dozen players from the 1880s are warming up and hanging out on the field, with two men holding a bar from which the bases are descending. VG condition with some surface wear and toning. Still has some original old charcoal writing tools inside.
