This fresh-to-the-market ball was recently discovered in the Pittsburgh area. and this is the first time it has been offered publicly. The best possible candidate for your collection, this is a single-signed ball with no removals, and no name inscribed, reading simply, "Best Wishes, Roberto Clemente." Furthermore, it has the all-important stamp of National League President Warren Giles dating it to Clemente's peak period of the 1960s. It even has the original box which, though tattered, survives. Interestingly, the ball has a an unusual sticker affixed to the side panel which we have never seen before. It reads: "1971 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates" with the team logo and actually adds to the great look of this baseball. It could be easily removed but remains there for originality. The condition is truly NICE, with the ball about a 7/10 with some soiling but a nice cream color. The signature is a beautiful 8/10 in vintage blue ink. As Obie-Wan Kenobi might say, "This IS the Clemente you've been looking for."
