In 1951, formidable A's and Tigers backstop Mickey Cochrane was a recent Hall of Fame inductee and received this substantial award for having been selected to the 1900-1950 "Baseball's Greatest Lineup." It is signed by Chairman of the Board Connie Mack (Cochrane's manager his first nine seasons as a player), Christy Walsh and 10 sportswriters from various cities. The certificate, which measures roughly 14" x 18", is in EX condition with original folder which has some creases and tears. It comes with an original photo (signed by Walsh) of Mickey along with the rest of the "team" receiving their certificates.
