Sample this! Manufactured by Balfour with the proper stamping with serial number and "Polara" stamped inside, this ring is just about identical to the ones given to the players who participated in the exhibition on February 5, 1978 at the Omni in Atlanta. The face of the prototype reads: "NBA ALL-STAR" with a large metal basketball protruding from the center and smaller shooting stars on the top and bottom. The name "ERVING" - presumably for "Dr. J" of the Philadelphia 76ers - appears on the left shank above the tri-color NBA logo, while "ATLANTA: at the Hawks logo adorn the right shank. The Size 10.5" ring is in EX-MT condition and would make a great show piece.
