Resplendent image by the great Charles Conlon is the finest we have seen! Dead-on bull's eye shot shows the Babe looking right into the camera. From the Yankees dugout circa 1927, he is drenched in his home pinstripes. Condition is EX-MT and measures 5.25" x 4". Notated in pencil on verso in Conlon's own hand, it reads: "Babe Ruth Yankees." This is the first and ONLY Babe Ruth Conlon we have offered in the million plus vintage sports photographs we have handled. Befittingly it would come from the impeccable source of the George Brace Collection and would likely have been handled by one of the other Big Three or George Burke himself.
