Sixteen years after calling it a career, catching great Mickey Cochrane received this esteemed honor from the Philadelphia Sports writers Association naming the former Athletics star as a "Half-Century All-Star of Philadelphia." The wood-based plaque includes a replica of his lifetime stats - highlighted by a .320 career batting average - on the metal face. It was presented to Mickey at the Philadelphia Golden Anniversary banquet in 1954 and remains in EX condition.
