This lot is for two, full, unused tickets featuring Jack Dempsey in world championship fights. The first is for his July 4, 1919 fight with Jess Willard in Toledo, Ohio in which Dempsey won the world heavyweight title. This ticket is in VG condition with stains on back and front and corner wear. The second was for Dempsey's famous title defense against Tommy Gibbons in Shelby, Montana on July 4, 1923. Dempsey won, but was lucky to get out of town as the fight nearly bankrupted the town. This ticket is in VG condition with soiling on front and back and edge and corner wear. Both tickets have been authenticated by PSA/DNA.
