Hall of Fame Catcher Mickey Cochrane received a watch, whose back was later made into this pendant. It is engraved: "Connie Mack Day August 21, 1949 Yankee Stadium" and comes with a gold chain. It is in EX condition. Cochrane batted .320 over his 13-year career and also managed as a player in his latter days with the Detroit Tigers. The Yankees - who would go on to win the World Series in 1949 - wound up losing the game that day to the A's, 8-7.
