Straight from the personal collection of one of baseball's greatest RBI men, here's the second of Juan Gonzalez's six Silver Slugger awards. Measuring 11" wide and 34" from the base to the knob of the bat, the trophy from Louisville Slugger includes a plaque that reads: "HILLERICH & BRADSBY CO. SILVER SLUGGER (SM) SILVER SLUGGER AWARD PRESENTED TO JUAN GONZALEZ - OF TEXAS MEMBER OF THE SPORTING NEWS AMERICAN LEAGUE OFFENSIVE TEAM 1993" with the other honorees listed: "MIKE STANLEY-C, FRANK THOMAS-1B, CARLOS BAERGA-2B, WADE BOGGS-3B, CAL RIPKEN JR.-SS, KEN GRIFFEY JR.-OF, ALBERT BELLE-OF, PAUL MOLITOR-DH." The trophy is in EX condition and signed on the back by the Puerto Rico-born superstar. The polished aluminum bat displays some light tarnishing. Gonzalez led the AL with 46 home runs in 1993, while also producing a league-best .632 slugging percentage.
