There is Nike size 50 tagging with four inches of extra length on the front tail and 1999-00 tagging inside. The shorts are size 46 with same 1999-00 tagging and "8" written on the tag. Bryant sat out the first six weeks of that season due to a hand injury but later excelled under the direction of newly-hired coach Phil Jackson, leading the team in assists and steals.
