You're a good man, Red Schoendienst. As these voluminous honors indicate, the Hall of Famer is also a gem of a guy off the diamond. The lot's contents, which date back as far as the 1950s and bridge the decades to the present day, consist of one-half plaques and one-half paper certificates, most coming from civic organizations such as the Lions Club, Cub Scouts and Catholic churches. Included is a framed color photo of Red and a metal plaque with his image but no identifiers. There are some rare items here, such as his Rochester Red Wings Hall of Fame induction plaque. The overall condition is EX with a few scratches and dings along the way.
