Though his career was riddled with drug and alcohol-related abuse, there was no denying Steve Howe's talent. The left-handed reliever was named National League Rookie of the Year in 1980 and just one year later, he closed out the Dodgers' World Series championship vs. the Yankees. This lot celebrates the late fireballer's happier baseball achievements, including the Rookie of the Year clock (still functions nicely) that is signed in 10/10 black Sharpie. There's also his game-worn Easton EXP4FB fielder's glove autographed in 9/10 gold-paint pen. There are also two baseball cards (1981 Topps, 1992 Donruss) with 9/10 signatures and signed baseball inscribed "1980 R.O.Y." and rating 8.10. A letter of provenance from Howe is included, along with LOA.
