When it came to baseball and the White House, there was no beating the Bushes! George W. Bush was a one-time owner of the major leagues' Texas Rangers, while his father, George Herbert Walker Bush, played college ball at Yale and actually met Babe Ruth. This nifty bat and ball combo reflects the presidential family's love of the game. The bat comes from the special Legends of History from their Presidential Series and was signed by the elder Bush at a private appearance with the barrel signature grading 8/10 in blue Sharpie. The official American League baseball is NRMT and signed on the sweet spot in 9/10 black Sharpie by "W." It is also signed on side panels by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour. Both signatures were obtained in person.
