Definitively 1996 helmet that could only have been worn this year. Unusual metallic blue helmet worn only in 1996. Also, has the smaller numbers on the brim and on the back, which is also unique to that year. Size 7 3/8 with his "12" in sil-ver on the inside of the helmet. Best of all are the remnants of tar on the insides from his batting glove (in exactly the right places). Clock on the inside shows it was made in 1991 but used in 1996. The helmet waited five years for a championship but Wade waited a heckuva lot longer.
