The Texas Rangers' all-time strikeout leader is the star of this lot as Nolan Ryan signed both of these red stadium seats in
9/10 silver Sharpie. The box seats are numbered 19 and 20 from section 305, row 17 of old Arlington Stadium, which opened its doors in 1965 and hosted its final contest in 1993. Each 24" x 30" x 22.5" seat has a gold plaque that reads: "GENUINE BOX SEAT FROM ARLINGTON STADIUM AKA TURNPIKE STADIUM 1965-1971 ARLINGTON, TX. HOME OF THE TEXAS LEAGUE (DALLAS-FORT WORTH SPURS) 1965-1971 AMERICAN LEAGUE (TEXAS RANGERS) 1972-1993 AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEED BY TEXAS RANGERS BASEBALL CLUB ARLINGTON, TX 76004." Each seat comes with a corresponding ticket stub and certificate (framed) from Ryan's record 5,000th strikeout game. The Rangers moved into their beautiful new home - Rangers Ballpark in Arlington - in 1994. Ryan registered his 5,000th strikeout on August 22, 1989 vs. Oakland.
