In 1962, it was "Mars Attacks" cards that were all the rage with kids and sci-fi buffs. Two years later, the same folks created "Monsters from Outer Limits" sets. The company Bubbles Inc. - under the Topps umbrella - distributed the packs, which were sold in display boxes such as this one, which shows outstanding color and is in EX-MT condition despite an inner water stain. "Outer Limits" was a popular TV show at the time and these hand-painted monster cards augmented the experience for fans and collectors alike. 5-cent packs are the scarcer commodity, making this item scary good!
