Not many people remember Hall of Fame second baseman Joe Morgan's two seasons with the San Francisco Giants in the early '80s. Turns out the two-time National League MVP enjoyed some modest success by the bay, batting .289 in 1982 and blasting the home run the final weekend that eliminated the arch-rival Dodgers and secured the NL West pennant to Joe Torre's Atlanta Braves in a thrilling, three-team race. This alternate orange jersey - which was worn both at home and mostly on the road - is all original and shows moderate use. "GiANTS 8" appears on the front with "MORGAN 8" on the back (name sewn on a plate). There's an "8 82" tag sewn on the front tail and Wilson size 42 tag in the collar. The SF Giants' 25th Anniversary patch adorns on the left sleeve.
