Mickey Mantle was already toiling in the minor leagues when his senior high school yearbook was published. The Class of 1949 from Commerce High was so small that there are very few surviving books. Mantle is featured throughout this 8.5" x 11" yearbook, including his football and basketball exploits. He was also voted "Most Popular" boy along with his counterpart, a less-familiar Bonnie Smith. The condition is EX but the last signature page has been torn out so it must be downgraded to VG. There were only 41 seniors in Mantle's graduation class so this is a real rarity.
