Just two years after their first championship title at the National Invitation Tournament, Long Island University won its second in 1941. This watch was presented to the winners and reads "First Prize Basketball Tournament Mad Sq. Garden 1941," and on the reverse "Made By Bulova" and is 14k GF. Under Coach Clare Bee, the Blackbirds took home their second title in three years but, while the Brooklyn school may have enjoyed something of a home court advantage at MSG, they are still in search of title number three.
