In 1969 Topps went to a no border background design for the first series and returned to its white border for the second. It is the first time they offered both AFL and NFL players in the first set and the set was a big 263 cards. Key Cards include #25 Unitas NM-MT +, #26 Bryan Piccolo EX-MT, #51 Gale Sayers EX-MT, #100 Joe Namath NRMT. The set averages EX-MT throughout with may better examples.
