After more than a decade as part of the Cincinnati Reds' "Big Red Machine," Tony Perez continued his eventual Hall of Fame career with a stop north of the border to play for the Montreal Expos. This double-knit, button front powder blue jersey shows a lot of use. It has the distinctive Expos logo and "24" sewn on the chest and "PEREZ" sewn directly on to the back with "24" below. Contains a Wilson size 44 tag in collar, and "79 1" tag sewn on front tail. This jersey was sent to the minors after Perez used it. The "expos" on the front was covered by a swatch of material which has since been removed and the name on the back was also covered by a nameplate which has since been removed, though the stitching marks can still be seen.
