In the late 1920's there were no baseball wax packs. To get "baseball cards" kids had to really strip cards. Usually sold in strips or sheets you would simply cut your favorite cards out. In this case these had double duty moonlighting as a playing card deck. These blank back cardboard playing cards incorporated notable baseball players into their design. This group (all damaged from a scrap book removal) includes Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Rogers Hornsby (2), Dazzy Vance, Lloyd Waner and more.
