Playing alongside Yankee greats Ruth and Gehrig, pitcher Red Ruffing quickly revived his struggling career after being traded to New York in 1930. He finished his career with a 273-225 record, 1987 strikeouts and a 3.80 ERA. He also hit 36 home runs throughout his career. This 40" x 55" B/W photograph from the 1940s of the HOF pitching ace hung inside Yankee Stadium until the 1970s when it was obtained by Bert Sugar. Though slightly bent on the bottom left, the photograph is in VG condition.
